We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm in Hawkchurch Village Hall.
We are a very friendly and fun loving bunch of ‘Gals” who enjoy our monthly get togethers.
It is a time to chat over a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits and be entertained by a variety of different ‘Speakers’. The main criteria asked of our speakers is to entertain, but very often we are given an insight into aspects of life with which we all have an interest, or have our eyes opened to aspects that we have heard about but have never experienced.
We have an annual Summer Meal in June, a cream tea in August, and in October we are having a Golden Celebration to mark 50 years of a Ladies’ Club existing in The Village.
The Club is a non profit making organisation but often monies are raised through events and raffles to cover costs of the hall , as well as gifts to Charitable Causes.
There is a very low cost annual membership fee. Guests of Members, both male and female are always welcome at £2 per visit.
