Big breakfast a big success!

A big thank you to all who came to the big breakfast last weekend. In all we served 77 breakfasts and all the food disappeared so it can’t have been too bad!! The hall was packed to the rafters as the prizes were awarded for the Christmas Tree festival.

We loved seeing so many of you together and hope you had a good time. There was an amazing age range of those who attended – from 2 years old to well over 80!

We would like to thank all those who helped. The amazing kitchen team led by Meeri or Jackie, Paula and John – who worked so hard and got very hot! The team who took the orders, looked after the raffle and generally helped out – Julie, Sue, Anne, Brian, Hazel and Ruth.

And a very special thank you to our two young waitresses, Maddie and Amy, who kept things flowing and worked very hard.

Thanks also to those who sponsored the event: The eggs were given by Hazel Stapleforth and Fortress (SW)Ltd sponsored the rest of the food.

We made a total of £542 which will be split 50:50 between the funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Night Landing Site and the Church New Facilities Fund. Thank you all again.
