November Parish walk

Sixteen walkers and one dog set off from Brimley Farmhouse at 2pm on Sunday November 17th. Proceeding from the farmhouse uphill through old established woodland alongside Parricks Lane, the group passed Fairwater Farm to reach the head of Fairwater valley. The party then followed a narrow footpath, crossed Badgers’ Bridge and headed downhill across fields to Piercehay Farm. After crossing Brimley Lane, the walkers traversed further fields, bridged a stream and tackled a steep uphill climb towards Tilworth Farm. Here the band enjoyed a magnificent view over Hawkchurch village and the surrounding area. The group then followed lanes to Brimley Cross and back to Brimley Farmhouse. A scrumptious tea was enjoyed by all the weary walkers.

This walk concludes the 2019 season. We will let you know when the plans for walks in 2020 are ready.
