11th Dec 2019 | Christmas Party and Light-hearted Quiz. | Village Hall 7.30pm | Bring a plate of food to share and your own wine, drinks and glasses. Guests welcome. |
12th Feb 2020 | “The Olive” | Speaker: Caradoc Doy, garden explorer | Some history, their uses and how to grow them in the British Isles. |
11th Mar 2020 | “East Devon Wild Flowers” | Speaker: Mike Lock, botanist,formerly from Kew gardens | Striking flowers to be found in the different natural habitats within East Devon. |
8th Apr 2020 | “Hedgehogs” | Speaker: Colin Varndell, natural history photographer | The predicament of this well-loved native mammal. |

13th May 2020 | Hawkchurch Gardeners’ Question Time | Informal question and answer session within our club covering any gardening issues such as pests, composting, tricky areas etc. Submit your questions to the committee ahead of the meeting. | |
25th July 2020 | 49th Annual Flower Show | Note this is on a Saturday | One of the highlights of the horticultural year. Our flower show is a great opportunity for you to show off all the fine produce from your gardens. Classes for adults and children in categories such as vegetables, flowers, craft, floral display, photography and cookery. |
14th Oct 2020 | “Creating a Wildlife Garden” | Speaker: Dr Gavin Haig, naturalist and former surgeon | Gavin’s passion for wildlife led him to develop a garden at Tiverton Hospital - a healing garden. |
