As East Devon has now been designated a Tier 3 area, the village hall remains pretty much closed. The film show planned for 11th January is now cancelled, and the Tai Chi classes and Toddler Group are not planning to re-start yet.

Looking further ahead, the Gardening Club is hoping to resume meetings from April 2021. Instead of Wednesday evenings, its meetings will be held on the second Thursday of the month in the afternoons, starting Thursday 8th April. The annual Flower Show will hopefully be held on Saturday 24th July. The club is also planning to have open gardens on Saturday 3rd July and will be serving teas in the village hall on that day.

The Ladies Club hopes to resume meetings from March 2021, on the first Tuesday of each month. The first meeting is on the afternoon of 2nd March. All other dates are evening meetings.

Hawkchurch History Society is hoping to resume meetings on the evening of Monday 15th March.

Changes to these dates are of course not at all unlikely. In future, to see the latest village hall news and diary dates please bookmark this page, which I will try to keep up to date.

If any clubs or private individuals want to provisionally book a session for the new year, please contact me.
