Stay at Home - Prescriptions
The Hawkchurch volunteer group (CHART) has an arrangement with the Axminster surgery and dispensary to collect residents prescriptions on their behalf. This is a practical arrangement for the dispensary and it significantly reduces the footfall and consequent risks of spreading coronavirus.
Wherever possible the surgery request that you order your repeat prescriptions online. If you are not able to do this we are able to collect your paper prescription and deliver it to the dispensary. We have strict arrangements in place to protect both residents and our volunteers. These arrangements are set out in our safeguarding policy which you can read here: Chart Safeguarding Policy Public April 2020
If you would like us to collect your prescriptions please get in touch with either Ann on 678613 or Chris on 678340. We will talk you through what you need to do and what we do. Please give us plenty of notice as we have to inform the dispensary in good time about prescriptions we are collecting.
If you are not registered with the Axminster surgery you may find there is a service such as Parmacy2U which delivers. You can ask your dispensary which delivery services they support. Leave plenty of time to get the service established. Postal services are somewhat disrupted and delivery may take longer than normal.
