Playground Improvements

HAWKCHURCH VILLAGE HALL PLAY AREA

IMPROVEMENTS CONSULTATION

Hawkchurch Parish Council (in conjunction with Hawkchurch Village Hall Committee) are exploring the possibility of upgrading the existing childrens play area which is situated at the Village Hall, and have requested the release of remaining S106 funds held by East Devon District Council in order to help fund potential improvements.

The Parish Council are therefore carrying out a public consultation, seeking the views of children within the Parish in order to allow them the opportunity to feedback on the current provision – and offer preferences and ideas for the site going forward.

This survey will provide a great opportunity for local children to identify potential improvements and help shape the future of the play area for young people.

Forms can be obtained by calling into the Village Shop – or by contacting Zoe Gage on 07464 975195.

Only 1 x form should be completed by each child (with help from a guardian only where necessary and remembering that this consultation is to seek the views of children, not adults).

Once completed, forms can be returned to the box in the Village Shop – or alternatively, directly to Zoe Gage.

The consultation will be live from 1st August 2023, and will close on 1st September 2023.

Once this consultation has closed, all of the feedback received will be carefully considered by the Parish Council in order to decide on possible and affordable upgrades.

Kind Regards

Mrs Zoe Gage (On behalf of Hawkchurch Parish Council and Village Hall Committee)
