Hawkchurch Community Shop

Come and Browse in the Shop

Many of you will already know that customers are now able to come into the Shop to do their shopping.

We have taken all the necessary measures to keep you and our volunteers safe, such as screening, sanitizing, social distance markers and a one-way system on the flooring of the Shop.  There are now green plastic baskets for you to put your purchases in. When you have finished using the basket it will be sanitized by one of our volunteers before making it available for re-use.

We have installed an awning at the entrance to the Shop to keep you dry as you wait your turn to enter. Customers are limited to one person, (a young child accompanied by an adult from the same household is additionally permitted). The Committee, with volunteer input may review this in due course. You are required to wear a mask unless exempt. In the event that you have forgotten to bring yours, they are available for you to purchase, either re-usable or disposable.

For those of you who may feel reluctant to come inside the Shop, we will keep the facility for you to place your order and pay from outside.
